Inbuilding Construction Manager
Austin, TX
(travel required)



Role Overview:

The Inbuilding Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all civil works activities on telecom in-building projects. This includes managing schedule, cost, quality, and safety while ensuring all service providers follow company standards and customer requirements. This role acts as the main point of coordination between vendors, project teams, and customers to keep projects on track.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of construction management experience in telecom or similar infrastructure
  • Experience supporting large-scale builds (200+ sites preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of civil works, site construction, and installation practices
  • Ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, and multiple site activities
  • Familiarity with copmany standards, RFDS, SOWs, and site documentation preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety standards (federal, local, site-specific)
  • Comfortable working independently and solving complex field issues
  • Willingness to travel regularly


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all civil works activities across assigned sites (schedule, cost, quality)
  • Ensure service providers follow copmany standards, processes, and safety requirements
  • Review and enforce site design, materials, and construction guidelines
  • Attend site walks, coordination calls, and progress meetings
  • Perform site pre-inspections, audits, and quality checks
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet contract and customer expectations
  • Identify and resolve construction and site-related issues in real time
  • Coordinate across teams (vendors, PMs, internal stakeholders) to keep work aligned with project goals
  • Track progress and provide regular status updates to project leadership
  • Support vendors with technical guidance as needed
  • Reject non-compliant materials or poor-quality work
  • Report performance, risks, and quality concerns


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update site documentation (SOW, NTP, RFDS, QA, safety docs, closeouts)
  • Review and approve civil works deliverables and progress (daily tracking)
  • Manage material orders, returns, and claims as needed
  • Ensure full compliance with civil design plans and project scope
  • Drive continuous improvement and process adherence
