Low Voltage Cable Installation Technician

Job Title: Low Voltage Cable Installation Technician
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816
Pay Rate: $22-$24/hour

Schedule:
Full-time, 1st shift (Monday through Saturday), approximately 58 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

• Install and troubleshoot low voltage fiber and copper cables
• Work with CAT6, single-mode and multi-mode fiber
• Use testing equipment such as Fluke testers
• Perform installation in commercial building environments
• Work in outdoor conditions and varying weather
• Follow safety guidelines and project requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of recent continuous construction experience
• Experience with fiber and copper cable installation preferred
• Familiarity with CAT6, fiber optics, and testing tools
• Ability to work in outdoor environments
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Strong work ethic and ability to work long hours
