Metallographic Lab Technician (3rd shift)

Job Details:
The responsibility of this Lab Technician will be to prepare metallic samples for engineering evaluation and part process qualification. This person will be performing all critical processes of metallography and providing documented results to multiple teams such as Materials and Process Engineering. This person will be working closely with the Material Engineering group and Process Engineering alongside the QC team.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Lab setting
• Experience in a GMP setting
• Experience performing analysis and tests in the lab setting
• Attention to detail/organized
• Ability to see and recognize the full color spectrum and other specific qualities when looking through a microscope
• Wear all required PPE when working with acids and powder
• Good work ethic

Nice to have:

• Experience in metallography
• Knowledge & experience with safe chemical storage and handling
