ServiceNow Product Owner
Title: Product Owner
Location: Canonsburg, PA (hybrid schedule, will be adjusting to 4 days in office in July)
Pay Rate: 60-65/hr
Duration - 6 month contract, targeting to convert to FTE
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that platform capabilities align with organizational goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT) to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Partner with ServiceNow developers and administrators to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct UAT planning and support testing activities to validate feature delivery.
- Serve as a product ambassador, providing demos, training, and enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts for new releases and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product ownership or business analysis, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and CSM modules within ServiceNow.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems.
- Familiarity with workflows and automation within ServiceNow.
- Certification in ServiceNow or Agile Product Ownership (CSPO, PSPO).
- Prior experience in telecom or infrastructure environments is a plus.
