Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Pulling, testing, terminating, and installing CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optics cables along with related equipment.
  • Working in large commercial/data center environments.
  • Assist the project team with installation activities as needed.
  • Proactively maintain jobsite organization and basic housekeeping. Organize materials, tools, and equipment, collect debris, and ensure hazardous conditions are promptly addressed.
  • Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
  • Know about the different materials and methodologies involved with the installation of a structured cabling system.

Qualifications:

  • Must have or obtain an OSHA 10 prior to start date.
  • Must demonstrate experience working with your hands in a physically demanding or tool‑based environment.
  • 1-4 years work experience in construction data cabling, data center experience is preferred.
  • Fiber splicing experience is a plus!
