Overview:

As a member of the CFM team, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the maintenance and repair of equipment including Electrical Switchgear, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, Transformers, Batteries, Generators, Chillers, Air Handlers, and Fire/Life Safety Equipment. On the job training is also provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of electrical infrastructure including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), and associated monitoring systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Monitor and analyze electrical system performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support capacity planning and load management to optimize electrical system performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the design, commissioning, and integration of new electrical systems and components during facility build-outs or retrofits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and compliance reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of equivalent experience in a relevant industry
  • 1+ years electrical or mechanical trade experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
  • Work at heights and from ladders.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.
  • Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration.
  • Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment
  • Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
  • Bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working
  • Perform physical tasks /manual labor for long periods of time during shifts
  • Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects
  • Push or pull heavy objects into position
  • Work in a noisy environment with using proper hearing protection
  • Work at depths, such as under raised floors
