Logistics Specialist
As a Data Center Logistics Warehouse Associate, you'll be integral to maintaining critical infrastructure out of a warehouse supporting all of the NOVA region through inventory management, parts distribution, and warehouse operations.
Data Centers operate 24/7 to support the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure, processing millions of critical hardware components and materials that keep our customers' services running. As a Data Center Logistics Associate, you'll be part of a team that ensures the continuous flow of these vital parts through our facilities. Your daily activities will include receiving shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, fulfilling part requests, and ensuring all material movements are precisely tracked in our systems. You'll work in both office and warehouse environments, handling everything from basic parts processing to supporting time-sensitive technical requests.
Physical / Environmental Demands
* Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
* Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
* Occasionally work is in a warehouse environment where the noise level is loud.
* Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.
* Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather
Work Environment
* Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
* Noise level varies and can be loud
* Temperature between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees
Basic Qualifications
* 0-2 years experience in a warehouse / distribution environment
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Must be able to work overtime as required
* Able to read and take direction in English
* Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances
* May participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more
* Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment
* Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired
* Push or pull heavy objects into position
* Work in a noisy environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with inventory management systems
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Understanding of inventory control methodology
* Positive work attitude
* Strong attention to detail
* Commitment to safety
