DAS Field Supervisor/Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This Field Manager leads on-site delivery of DAS, Small Cell, and Private LTE/5G projects across commercial environments. The role blends hands-on technical execution with crew leadership, scheduling, quality control, testing/commissioning support, and client coordination. Responsible for driving projects from install through closeout while maintaining safety, budget targets, and performance standards.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years hands-on DAS installation experience (Lead Tech or Field Supervisor level preferred)
  • Recent experience leading DAS crews and managing field ops.
  • Experience pulling/terminating coax and fiber
  • Proficiency with PIM/Sweep testing (Anritsu/Site Master or similar)
  • Fiber testing & fusion splicing experience (OTDR, power meter)
  • Ability to read and execute IBWAVE design documents and redlines
  • Working knowledge of DAS commissioning & optimization practices
  • Experience tracking schedules, materials, and job progress
  • Experience handling site walks, closeout docs, & reporting
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet physical job demands


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead daily field operations for DAS installs across multiple job sites
  • Direct, task, and support DAS Tech crews for production and quality
  • Install, route, & terminate coax & fiber as needed alongside crews
  • Ensure IBWAVE designs are followed and redlined in the field
  • Oversee antenna, remote, and component installation
  • Perform and validate PIM/Sweep and fiber test results
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate corrective actions
  • Support commissioning, optimization, and system turn-ups
  • Manage material logistics, inventory, and job readiness
  • Track schedules, manpower, and progress against project goals
  • Collect photos, test data, and documentation for closeout packages
  • Maintain site safety compliance and client professionalism
