Field Construction Manager

Senior Construction Manager (CM3) - Ericsson Small Cell Program
Kansas City, MO (KAMO)

Position overview:
Lead civil construction delivery for Ericsson's small cell builds across the Kansas City market. Owns field execution, vendor management, schedules, cost control, quality, and safety across multiple active sites.

Required experience:

• 5+ years telecom construction management
• Experience supporting large-scale build programs (500+ sites)
• Small cell, macro, or DAS civil construction background
• Experience managing multiple vendors and field crews
• Able to read and enforce civil drawings, RFDS, and SOWs
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, and compliance

Daily responsibilities:

• Manage civil construction from NTP through closeout
• Control site budgets, scope, and schedules
• Direct and oversee service providers and subcontractors
• Enforce Ericsson, customer, federal, and local safety standards
• Perform site inspections, audits, and quality checks
• Validate materials and workmanship on site
• Provide technical guidance to field crews
• Track progress and report daily/weekly status
• Maintain Site Handler docs (NTPs, RFDS, PFAs, closeouts)
• Drive issue resolution and process improvement
