Accountant
About the Role
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient customer billing across assigned markets. You'll develop a solid understanding of our business model, the end‑to‑end invoicing process flow, and specific customer requirements to deliver a high‑quality billing product from creation through distribution. You will partner closely with FP&A and other stakeholders to resolve exceptions and continuously improve billing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and confirm all expected customer invoices to be billed.
- Create invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring end‑to‑end integrity.
- Proactively resolve-or escalate and communicate-billing exceptions for assigned customers.
- Gain and retain working knowledge of each assigned customer's billing requirements and ensure those requirements are met.
- Ensure accurate invoice delivery via each customer's required method.
- Print and post invoices in JD Edwards (JDE).
- Manage and reconcile the pre‑bill process for assigned customers with the FP&A analyst for a given market.
- Communicate and follow up effectively with assigned FP&A analyst(s) to drive optimal billing solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned in a fast‑paced shared services environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (required).
- 2+ years of experience in billing and/or invoicing (required).
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) (highly preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook).
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage time to meet department and customer deadlines; flexibility to work past normal business hours when needed.
