Cybersecurity Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and security groups to monitor, track, and follow up on identified system weaknesses.
• Gather and organize vulnerability information from various tools and summarize key insights.
• Assist technical teams in determining which security findings to address first and support remediation efforts.
• Produce clear, structured documentation outlining requirements, procedures, and expectations for security initiatives.
• Refine and streamline processes related to monitoring risks, tracking issues, and improving security workflows.
• Build straightforward dashboards or status summaries that highlight trends, outstanding items, and progress.
• Share updates and potential concerns with both business stakeholders and engineering teams in a clear, accessible way.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on familiarity with vulnerability scanning or security assessment platforms (e.g., Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of software security principles, including how vulnerabilities affect applications and products.
• General understanding of compliance frameworks and risk‑related procedures.
• Strong writing and communication skills, especially when documenting processes or explaining findings.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
