Job Title: Ground Operations Associate - Drone Delivery- Contract- Ruskin

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Ground Operations Associate to support our cutting-edge drone delivery program. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily drone operations by organizing and managing equipment, including batteries and related components.
  • Monitor local airspace and report potential hazards or obstacles to ensure safe flight operations.
  • Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as inventory tracking and package preparation.
  • Follow standard operating procedures while upholding safety and compliance standards.
  • Engage positively with community members and respond to basic inquiries about our operations.
  • Document and report operational activities using standardized templates and tools.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable standing and walking for shifts up to 12 hours.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with documentation and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Background in aviation, aerospace, or drone-related activities.
  • Familiarity with aviation terminology and regulations.
  • Possession of a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
