Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic negotiation events for Software and SaaS categories.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand contracting needs.
  • Manage end-to-end RFx processes for complex IT products and services.
  • Develop and align category plans with sourcing leadership and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate business terms with IT vendors to reduce risk and optimize costs.
  • Interpret and manage various IT contract types: SaaS, Cloud, Software Licensing, Hardware Maintenance, MNDA, MSA, DPA, SOWs.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure contract compliance.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and cross-functional alignment.
  • Expand strategic sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend.
  • Use eSourcing tools and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing efficiency.
  • Create category playbooks and roadmaps; contribute to spend analytics and planning.
  • Apply project management tools to track and report on multi-million-dollar initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Background in finance, economics, statistics, or business management.
  • Experience in large-scale financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Proven success in complex vendor negotiations.
  • Familiarity with IT environments and retail operations.
  • Consulting experience (internal or external) is a plus.
