Sales Compensation Analyst
osition Title: Sales Incentive Program Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the development, execution, and oversight of global sales incentive programs. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and IT to ensure that incentive structures are aligned with strategic objectives, clearly communicated, and accurately administered.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution
- Manage the full lifecycle of incentive calculations: gather and verify performance metrics, process payouts in line with program guidelines, and ensure accuracy through rigorous validation across platforms.
- Design and implement audit protocols to monitor compensation activities and proactively resolve inconsistencies.
- Partner with Finance and Payroll to coordinate timely and precise distribution of bonuses, draws, and performance-based rewards.
Stakeholder Support
- Address inquiries from sales personnel and leadership regarding incentive frameworks, performance metrics, exception handling, and payment details.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain thorough records of incentive plans, operational procedures, and calculation methodologies to support transparency and audit compliance.
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 3 years of direct experience managing sales incentive programs.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with compensation platforms such as Forma.ai, Xactly, Anaplan, or CaptivateIQ.
- Experience supporting incentive programs for teams of 50+ sales professionals.
- Strong knowledge of incentive mechanisms including quotas, accelerators, draws, and performance bonuses.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formulas, lookups, conditional logic, pivot tables, and large-scale data reconciliation.
- Proven ability to enhance and document processes that improve accuracy and compliance.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with international sales teams or across multiple regions.
- Familiarity with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
