About the Role
We are seeking two strong hires for the South Florida market: one senior-level Project Manager/Market Manager and one at a slightly lower experience level.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on Project or Construction Management experience specifically in In-Building DAS systems-managing end-to-end delivery without requiring training on the basics of the work. This role will oversee technicians and requires strong technical knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to ensure quality, compliance, and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple DAS projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets are met.
- Lead and oversee a team of 10-20 technicians in the South Florida market.
- Work with DAS systems from Corning, ADRF, Westell, Commscope, Solid, or JMA.
- Perform or oversee commissioning and troubleshooting of DAS systems.
- Interpret blueprints, project schedules, and financials.
- Ensure compliance with RF theory principles and apply them to DAS and Public Safety DAS systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with AHJs across the Tri-County area, understanding NFPA code requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for project success.
- Utilize tools such as Anritsu for system testing and verification.
- Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, cost logs, and billing in cloud-based systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Project or Construction Management experience in In-Building DAS systems.
- Proven experience with DAS equipment from Corning, ADRF, Westell, Commscope, Solid, or JMA.
- Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting experience for DAS systems.
- Strong understanding of RF theory and its application to DAS and Public Safety DAS.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and working with Tri-County AHJs.
- Proficiency with Anritsu test equipment.
- Leadership experience managing large technician teams (10+).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public Safety DAS expertise; ability to transition to Cellular DAS if needed.
- Certifications: NICET (priority), RCDD, GROL, and relevant OEM certifications/courses.
- Experience with Small Cell or 4G/5G private wireless networks.
