Full-stack Software Engineer- React/UI
Job Title: Full-Stack Software Engineer (React, API, micro-services, AWS, CI/CD)
Location: St.Louis or Remote!
Employment Type: 12+ month contract (unable to sponsor or work C2C)
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle-from requirements gathering and design to development, deployment, and support. You'll work closely with business users, product managers, and technical teams in an Agile environment to deliver impactful software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features aligned with business goals.
Build and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications using modern technologies.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices.
Provide support for application issues, ensuring responsiveness and reliability.
Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Contribute to system architecture and design to meet current and future business needs.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code and development processes.
Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Experience & Skills:
3+ years of full-stack development experience for mid-level roles; 5+ years for senior/expert-level roles.
Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, including React for UI and experience with API development.
Familiarity with building APIs and microservices.
Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and cloud-based architecture.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the agriculture or crop science industry.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer).
