GIS Systems Analyst

Under the direction of the Business Systems Analysis Manager, this role provides functional and technical support for applications, with a focus on GIS. Responsibilities include managing service tickets, ensuring SLA compliance, and developing data collection apps, dashboards, and reports using ESRI's low-code/no-code tools.

Key duties:

• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain GIS applications in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Design, configure, test, and debug Web and Mobile GIS applications.
• Compile, edit, and maintain geographic and operational databases.
• Implement GIS database quality control and assurance procedures.
• Provide technical support and training for GIS users.
• Collaborate with GIS Editors and Data Collectors to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Troubleshoot software issues and plan system upgrades and migrations.
• Document current processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Geography, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in GIS, Business Analysis, or Systems Analysis (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Preferred:

• Experience with Cityworks.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, REST APIs.
• Programming in Python, Arcade, or JavaScript.
