Content Specialist
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end content development cycle for support documentation tied to product launches and updates.
- Interview subject matter experts across CX, product, design, and marketing to gather insights and structure content effectively.
- Write and edit external help center articles that are easy to understand and aligned with Dropbox's voice and tone.
- Maintain internal support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, handling instructions, one-pagers, and how-to articles.
- Curate and update macro libraries for support agents, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
- Partner with the Training Development team to align internal content and training materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support product launch activities and ensure content readiness.
- Participate in peer reviews, offering constructive feedback to elevate team-wide content quality.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of experience writing documentation for software products.
- Proven background in technical writing or software documentation, with a portfolio of work.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality content.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to different support tiers.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Experience adhering to brand and style guidelines when developing content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with content management systems and support platforms.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- A passion for making technical information accessible and user-friendly.
