Dropbox is seeking a sharp, creative Social Media Coordinator to help shape and manage the CEO's presence across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms. This role sits at the intersection of executive communications and internet culture - ideal for someone who's fluent in social trends, confident ghostwriting for high-profile leaders, and skilled at turning internal moments into compelling public-facing content.

You'll be the day-to-day voice behind the CEO's social channels, working closely with the Senior Social Media Lead and the Office of the CEO to ensure every post is timely, authentic, and strategically aligned. From thought leadership to behind-the-scenes updates, you'll help maintain a smart, human, and consistent executive presence online.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Collaboration

  • Turn internal meetings, milestones, and ideas into engaging, platform-native posts.
  • Partner with the CEO's team and Senior Social Media Lead to shape messaging and refine content direction.
  • Pitch new formats and visual treatments that feel natural to each platform.

Platform Execution

  • Draft and schedule daily posts across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Write short-form content that reflects the CEO's tone, priorities, and personality.
  • Maintain a steady cadence of thought leadership, cultural commentary, and behind-the-scenes updates.

Trend Spotting & Timely Engagement

  • Stay plugged into social trends, tech news, and cultural moments.
  • Surface opportunities for the CEO to weigh in or spark conversation in relevant communities.
  • Suggest creative ways to engage with viral moments or user-generated content.

Quality Control & Brand Integrity

  • Use sound judgment to ensure all content is professional, appropriate, and on-message.
  • Maintain a consistent executive voice while allowing for authenticity and personality.
  • Monitor performance and engagement to inform future content strategy.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 2+ years managing or contributing to social media for a public-facing executive, brand, or influencer.
  • Deep understanding of platform best practices across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and emerging channels.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to another person's voice and tone.
  • Highly organized, culturally curious, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with scheduling tools and native publishing platforms.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling executive communications.

Preferred

  • Background in tech, startups, or founder-led brands.
  • Experience ghostwriting or managing executive thought leadership content.
  • Familiarity with creative tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut, and social analytics platforms.
