Journeyman Electrician
Vermont & New Hampshire - travel required.


Overview:
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support electrical installations and maintenance across Vermont and New Hampshire. This role involves extensive travel, with all travel expenses covered. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical work, including DC power systems, and be comfortable leading projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical frameworks and troubleshoot faults in existing electrical systems.
  • Carry standard equipment and parts to job sites to ensure efficient service.
  • Perform inspections, assessments, and work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
  • Install, maintain, and restore electrical systems, including wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, and switchboards.
  • Set up and service industrial equipment, including DC power systems and critical power infrastructure.
  • Supervise internal teams and subcontractors performing industrial electrical installations and servicing.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock of necessary materials.
  • Maintain detailed logs of time, resources, and costs for each project.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Act as a company qualifier for electrical contractor licenses across multiple states.
  • Mentor apprentices and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Four or more years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Vermont and New Hampshire with overnight stays.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain Electrical Contractor Qualifier Licenses or reciprocity in multiple states as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Experience working in telecommunications, data centers, or other critical power facilities.
