This position is a key member of the Employee Experience team that ensures our store teams are up to speed on the latest product and customer service offerings. The primary responsibility of the Senior Training Specialist is to assess learning needs and design, develop and maintain training solutions to meet those needs. This role will have a particular focus on upskilling our store teams with product knowledge. In addition, the Senior Training Specialist will provide skilled and professional support for other retail training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
· Conduct needs analysis for current programs focused on product and fit
· Consult with subject matter experts to build course material
· Conduct design activities for in-house projects, including deliverables like course objectives, preliminary design and detailed final design
· Coordinate with vendors on outsourced projects including creating objectives and preliminary design documents, design review, project management, design support documents and communication

· Manage development of key deliverables on projects including storyboards, prototypes, course materials including documentation and job aids, leaders' guides, class plans, computer-based training testing (alpha/beta, user acceptance, pilot, etc.). Develop assessments/tests.
· Assist in development and manage roll out strategy for new and revised programs
· Assist in design and delivery of train-the-trainer (T3) courses, as needed
· Lead in developing tools and resources related to Product Knowledge
· Develop evaluation instruments, surveys and events
· Measure impact of learning solutions; create and distribute reports for Home Office and Retail employees; track metrics; ROI.
· Periodically evaluate existing programs to ensure they meet the needs of the Retail teams
· Co-lead in updating and management of our Learning management system (LMS) training portal.
· Have a strong knowledge of instructional design/graphic design and adult learning best practices and trends
· Lead and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned, and support training activities as needed

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 year's experience in the learning and development field, with instructional design/curriculum development as a focus, including experience supporting senior level managers
· Knowledge using Adobe publishing software (InDesign). Proficiency with authoring tools like Canva, Flash, Captivate, Articulate, etc. a plus
· Expert knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Experience in LMS implementation or maintenance a plus
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals/groups at all levels with the organization
· Ability to effectively work and communicate with people at all levels within the organization
· Creative, flexible and innovative team player; ability to work effectively in an environment with constantly changing priorities
· Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines and produce high quality results in ambiguous situations
· Retail Store experience in the Apparel/Footwear industry is a plus
