We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Telecommunications Estimator to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

This full-time role involves analyzing project documents to prepare cost estimates, collaborating with teams and clients for bid proposals, and evaluating labor, material, equipment, and time requirements to compute project costs. The Estimator will also stay updated with industry trends, lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, and prepare comprehensive bid proposals for management and stakeholders.

Role:

• Analyze project documents, requirements and scope of work to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Collaborate with the project delivery /operations team, engineers and clients to gather all necessary information for bid proposals
• Evaluate labor, material, equipment and time requirements to compute the overall project cost.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and agreements
• Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to management, clients and stakeholders
• Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets

Key Skills:

• Previous proven Telecommunications Estimator experience or similar role
• In depth knowledge of telecommunications systems
• Previous estimating experience in OSP, FTTH, FTTP, aerial/underground fiber, EV charging, BESS a benefit
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
