THE PROBLEM_

An international media company decided to bring their technology infrastructure support services in-house to create a Digital Operations Centre in Manchester to manage all elements of infrastructure support for their multiple business divisions globally. After completing a competitive tender process, Lorien was selected as their supply partner.

This meant whole new teams of digital operations staff needed to be sourced, screened and interviewed with minimal downtime to the clients existing structure.

THE PROCESS_
A phased recruitment model was designed to ensure that the appropriate senior talent was in place to support the later phases of the recruitment process. Key activities included: planning and persona mapping, microsite, candidate packs, search initiation for senior roles, gamified assessment design through partnering with Arctic Shores, assessment days, open days and social events to keep secured candidates engaged whilst awaiting start date.

THE OUTCOME_

Due to the extensive research and execution of the phrased recruitment model, the project was delivered on budget and ahead of time to meet the deadline for the launch of the Digital Operations Centre. Lorien successfully fulfilled over 100 candidate roles and filled 100% of roles directly with a 99% offer accepted rate.
