Reward Specialist 6 month FTC - based anywhere in the UK

We are recruiting for a Reward Specialist on a 6 month FTC for our client who is one of the UK's leading financial services organisations.

This is an opportunity to get involved in an exciting period of transformational change and is an opportunity to make the organisation a market leader in the way they support their people. You will be an important addition to the Reward team, and as a Reward Specialist you will be supporting some of the key people strategy initiatives to enable colleagues to bring the best of themselves to work. Accountable for specific programmes, you will be advising, guiding, developing and building reward framework solutions, as well as identifying opportunities for efficiency and simplification. You'll be passionate about supporting people in the everyday, establishing and building strong relationships to deliver.

Our client is looking for passionate individuals to help build on the opportunities and new ways of working that have been adapted to over the last 18 months; ultimately enabling people to bring the best of themselves to work.

To be successful in this role, you will hold some of the following experience and skills:

  • Up-to-date experience in Reward best practice with a strong knowledge of compensation and reward initiatives and evidence of creating, developing and building pay framework solutions, including competency pay progression schemes
  • A good understanding of job architecture with experience of role profile creation and restructuring
  • Job evaluation methodology / organisation design principles
  • Creation of communications for different audiences
  • Experience in leading cultural and people change
  • Evidence an ability to build strong influential relationships and partnerships with others
  • Proven ability to provide guidance, identify risks and manage outcomes to pragmatic solutions
  • Adept at change management, and an ability to prioritise competing needs of different stakeholders
  • Creative and innovative in exploring people outcomes
  • Worked with and alongside a unionised environment
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong use of data management and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in an Agile way
