Lorien's client, an award-winning organisation with an amazing office in the heart of Edinburgh offering hybrid working arrangements, is well known for its widespread subscription service and eCommerce offerings (many of us here are subscribers and customers ourselves!). Starting out around a decade ago and seeing continued success, they have been growing rapidly to become an established brand and they are now looking to expand their team with a new addition in the shape of a S&OP Supply Specialist/Planner.

• Using your knowledge and skills to work within a multidisciplinary team of Third-Party Logistics, Buying, Marketing, Supply and other personnel
• Produce forecasts as well as capacity planning models
• Prepare & manage monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings with relevant key stakeholders
• Craft ideas for slow moving/surplus stock
• Improve the wider S&OP function from cost reduction to service and quality reviews

Here's the kind of skills/knowledge they're looking for:

• Track record of working as a S&OP/Supply Specialist or Supply Planner
• Strong knowledge of Capacity and Supply Models
• Advanced Excel and ideally SQL skills
• Stakeholder liaison skills and ability to work across simultaneous projects in an evolving organisation
