Data/Process Analyst Opportunity - Edinburgh (Hybrid) - To 35K plus benefits

Lorien's client, an award-winning organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh offering very flexible hybrid working arrangements, is well known for its widespread subscription service (many of us here are customers ourselves!), the most popular in its sector.

Starting out as a family-run business, they have grown rapidly over the last decade to become an established brand and are now looking to expand their team with a new addition in the shape of a Data/Process Analyst.

Whether you have only recently started your career in the Data/Process/BI domains, or have delivered a number of similar projects previously, this is an opportunity for anyone to learn, upskill technically and progress into a senior ranking role, with great career pathways for those who are keen.

Take a look at the finer details below, and if this sounds like it might be of interest, get in touch before it's snapped up!:

  • Using your knowledge and skills to map/analyse and improve processes across the board
  • Gather, analyse and visualise key data to guide strategic and technical decisions
  • Develop automated reports & dashboards using relevant tooling
  • Contribute to key internal projects and provide insights on your learnings as you go
  • Analyse patterns and trends via advanced analytics practices

Here's some of the skills/knowledge they're looking for:

  • Record of working as a Data Analyst or similar role in the Process/BI domains
  • Ability to create BI reports as well as use and configure data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik and/or Tableau
  • Advanced Excel and ideally Microsoft Access skills
  • Knowledge of large volume dataset manipulation
  • Strong SQL knowledge, querying skills and ideally a decent understanding of Databases/DB Tables

If this sounds like it might be of interest, apply now with your latest CV and let's have a chat!
