Product Analyst required to join a high level initiative for a global insurance firm . This exciting role is a key analyst role that will support the Decision Focus Initiative, a programme of work which oversees our regulatory reporting processes and workflow for regulatory reporting, repository for risk and control registers, risk management process and workflow and reporting and compliance processes and workflow all of which will provide business intelligence view and capability across functions. This Global insurer are progressively implementing Agile practices and seeks to recruit Product Analyst to support the portfolio and this initiative, ensuring they work with the team to ensure business needs are understood and met. The Regulatory, Risk and Business Process portfolio, deliver major initiatives, small enhancements and business as usual support to the Regulatory and Risk function and also delivery support to Operating Model initiatives that touch on cross functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis work to a consistently high standard within a range of business areas, producing output to agreed timescales, formats, and standards
  • Contribute to projects as required to develop proposals, requirements, or another project documentation
  • Elicit further requirements and test / challenge assumptions using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process descriptions
  • Identify the relationships, dependencies and impacts of change on multiple systems and processes
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Stakeholder management - support the product owner to interact with all levels of management, obtain buy in and sign off and manage expectations
  • Contribute to the Business Solutions Team development of standards / methodology for capturing and publishing business processes, requirements, and other documentation
  • Work effectively as part of a project team alongside the Product Owner, Scrum master and delivery team
  • Accurately identify and estimate their deliverables
  • Contribute to team quarterly planning and sets expectations for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
  • Skills and Experience
  • Business analysis experience and knowledge of business analysis methodologies , and ideally Insurance experience.
  • Document management system & workflow application experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as harmoniously in teams
  • Comfortable working with 'C' level stakeholders, excellent stakeholder skills are required for this role
  • Flexible and pragmatic and demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and to meet standards
  • Wide range of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • BPMN or similar business process modelling skills
  • Agile environment experience

London based, 2 days a week in the office on Fenchurch Street
