Salesforce Technical Architect

Salary: up to 90K base depending on experience

The client

The client is a global and well-established and international Media Marketing Agency. They provide clients with a range of services to allow them to maximize the effectiveness, relevance, and performance of their largest marketing investment. They are currently working on a transformation program which drives operation across people, processes, and technology. They are going through a period of growth and are investing heavily into technology.

You

You will focus on providing advice on the technical architecture of the Salesforce platform including the delivery of technical designs and working with integration & technical teams to implement functionality to cost, quality, and schedule.

Your responsibilities

• Delivering various technical designs and related artefacts to development teams,
• Designing, applying, and enforcing architecture principles, standards, patterns and practices for technical design and development teams,
• Providing expert knowledge in systems integration to ensure disparate systems function
• Leading the design of appropriate architecture views and viewpoints
• Providing guidance to developers and other architects to help break down complex problems or systems into smaller, more manageable parts, which are easier to program and maintain.
• Liaising closely with other members of the Solution Architecture team and Business Analysts to review and understand requirements
• Working with other members of the Solution Architecture team to drive the strategic architecture and roadmap.

Experience

• Experience in a Technical Architect role and experience in a development role.
• Experience of working with development teams in both on and offshore environments.
• 5+ years' experience of Salesforce.com including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, General configuration) and other platforms - CPQ, CLM, Adobe
• Strong hands-on experience with APEX and Visualforce
• Experience of Salesforce managed packages
• Full life cycle implementations on the Salesforce platform
• Experience of integrating Salesforce with Marketing Automation platforms
• Excellent ability to think clearly, analyse problems logically and make correct decisions under extreme pressure.
• Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling tools, with proficiency in the use of at least one ERD modelling tool.
