DevOps Engineer - new job in Edinburgh, UK

Job Title: DevOps Contractor (min. 6 months) Business Unit: Development Operations Location: Edinburgh (hybrid/remote) Business: Lorien is excited to be working with one of the fastest growing technology companies in the transport industry. Over the last few years, they have developed their cutting-edge technology into a commercially used solution with a major transport business. To help with upcoming projects and developments, they are looking to appoint a DevOps contractor to join their team on a 6-month contract to help them roll out their next generation platform to more clients and customers in the transport sector. In this position you will be responsible for:

• Keeping the system operational 24/7/365
• Managing operations across the software stack using the bleeding edge technology.
• Setting up key systems and responding to any issues that may arise.
• Providing out of hours operations support as necessary

About you: The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and hard-headed individual suited to someone keen to act as first responders to operational issues for their customers and take ownership for the goals of our systems. The tech environment you will be working with include:

• AWS Deployment
• Postgres
• Linux
• DataDog
