Platform Engineer - Contract

Rate: £525 Start Date: As soon as possible Determination: Inside IR35 Contract Length: 6 Months + Location: Manchester/Hybrid

We are currently looking for a Platform Engineer on a 6 month + contract basis to join and support our development team to enhance our adoption of cloud infrastructure, while maintaining and developing internal systems and tools to support product development teams.

The project is primarily based around Designing a robust and scalable structure, using AWS, and a combination of Terraform, Kubernetes and Spinnaker.

• We are looking for someone with hands-on experience of setting up critical infrastructure and applications

• Hands on implementation of monitoring stack for availability and performance, leveraging monitoring tools such as Data Dog, AppDynamics, Nagios etc and configuring alerts for early failure detection.
• Good understanding with public cloud technologies (Route53, ACM, RDS/AWS DynamoDB, AWS Neptune, OpenSearch, Redshift, ElasticCache, EKS, AWS Cloudwatch)
