Database Administrator (DBA) - new job in London, UK

Database Administrator-

My client, a leading gaming and gambling solution software provider that develop cuttingedge technical platforms incorporating sportsbook, lottery, casino, virtual and financial trading, are seeking a talented DBA to join their growing business.

The DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database including database documentation to ensure proper data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary. You will also ensure data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act, and perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity requirements are met.

Key skills and experiences required include-

• Experience in a DBA position or similar
• Hands on experience of postgreSQL
• Experience scripting in Bash, Python and Tableau
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience in understanding the requirements and documenting it.
• Effectively able to analyse business processes for strategic requirements of business and enable delivery of practical results.
