Business Analyst - LIMS Implementation 12 Month Contract - HybridOur Global Life Sciences client are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis. You will be working within their Bioscience area and will be supporting a team of BA's and contributing to the development of a LIMS platform which will help accelerate growth in their Biologicals Business.

Accountabilities

• Identify business needs, problems and opportunities
• Elicit and document business and user requirements, delegating system requirements documentation to other offshore analysts, verify final solution that they design with a development team
• Investigate and document business processes and context, share knowledge within a team of business analysts
• Manage requirements: trace, prioritize, decompose, refine backlog
• Support and facilitate delivery: drive demo, organize trainings
• Manage stakeholders: create/ maintain RACI matrix, gather feedback, manage expectations, maintain trust and stay in the business context
• Support Data Model: design, monitor data consistency as a solution is designed, analyse, raise and document changes
• Highlight and escalate risks and issues as they become evident

Experience Required

• 2+ years of work experience as an IT Business Analyst
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with applied experience of working with data models and data flows
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of BA techniques for requirement elicitation and documentation according to BABOK standards
• Solid experience in solution/ business process prototyping
• Knowledge of ERD, UML, Data Flow diagram notations
• Skills and willingness to work in a team
• Agile mindset and experience of SCRUM ceremonies
• Interest in Life Sciences domain

Desirable

• Education or experience in Life Sciences area, especially in molecular biology
• Experience in LIMS/ELN solutions, especially Benchling
