Our leading UK banking client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the bank, please see the details of the role below -

Location: UK offices (remote working initially then 2 days in the closest office per month)

Duration: 6 months initial contract with potential extensions

What you'll do:

You'll support on identifying solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and lead in the definition and realisation of solutions, processes, benefits, avoidance of cost, identification of new opportunities, understanding of required capabilities and modelling the organisation.

The skills you'll need:

We're looking for an experienced business analyst who can coordinate with technical teams for technical changes and infrastructure stand-up. This role requires someone comfortable working with technical teams, can-do attitude, ability to write user stories, with an understanding of governance.

You'll also need:

  • Experience in the banking industry (in particular, familiar and comfortable with banking governance).
  • Experience working with technical teams.
  • Infrastructure delivery experience.
  • Proficient in writing user stories.
  • A tenacious attitude and ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
  • Be able to create process flows, capture processes and any improvements.
  • Experience of requirements gathering with key stakeholders as well as the managing project delivery.
  • Experience working with large amounts of engagement data (i.e. dealing with communications from a variety of stakeholders and teams).
  • To be able to plan logically, enable the team and support team members i.e. project managers and product owners.
  • An organised and driven individual who possesses a good attention to detail.
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • Ability to lead meetings and manage a system of tracking project notes and progress.
  • Experience working on storage solutions and working with network/firewall teams would be desirable.
