About the role

As a portfolio Lead, you will provide oversight and steering to a team of project managers and will be the primary escalation point for stakeholders.

You will have a good handle on the status of projects within your allocated portfolio and will be working day to day with project managers and senior stakeholders to proactively mitigate risks and to resolve issues as and when they occur.

The Commercial portfolio is made up of a number of complex technology deliveries for UK and international customers, as well as developing exciting new propositions to take to market. The annual budget for this portfolio is around £10m.

  • Managing complex Projects and Programmes to time cost and quality criteria
  • Working with internal and external teams
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organizations
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects

This role is for a 12-month fixed term contract.
