The IT Support Engineer role forms part of a global team, working within a centre of excellence which covers the group. This is a varied role working in a complex environment. Day-to-day, this role will involve project work, hardware and software support, service desk work, vendor support and process reviews.What is required from you? * 1st/2nd line support experience * Excellent ServiceDesk skills * Good communication skills and ability work independently as well as in a team * Must be office based full time, no offer at all of remote working. Majority of that should be in Aycliffe * Open collaboration with other peers considering different time zones (e.g. US, China) related to Operations Global footprint * Willingness to travel (Switzerland, 2 x per year), Helsingborg (Sweden, 2 x per year), and London (max. 4 x a month) sites, providing local support Our client are looking for someone with a broad range of technical skills who is keen to progress and to test themselves in a new environment. The role is varied so an open mind to different tasks, travel and diversity is essential.Based in Newton Aycliffe, you'd work on-site most of the time and travel to other sites as required - this would of course be funded.
