Our leading UK banking client is seeking a Service Manager to join their team, please see the details of the role below -

Location: UK (hybrid/ remote working)

Duration: 6 months initial contract with potential extensions

Area: Data & Analytics

A service manager is required to support the Enterprise Data lake team. This will cover incident, problem and stakeholder management for a fairly large distributed data platform estate involving Cloudera Hadoop, Elastic, Stream Sets and AWS services. The platform supports more than 50 different applications across the business ranging from regulatory reporting to machine learning models.

Essential skills:

  1. Service Management experience in a financial services setting
  2. Exposure to Cloud (AWS) and distributed data processing (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc)
  3. Stakeholder management experience
  4. Experience of Scaled Agile or similar frameworks for change

Desirable:

  1. AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  2. Cloudera / Hadoop experience
