Lorien's London based client is an established, fast-growing audio-visual provider and is seeking on site AV Technicians to join their expanding team, providing AV technical support to our current client.

This would be an ideal role for AV technicians that thrive in an exciting, fast paced environment and are presentable, calm, collective, and can deal with last minute situations that can occur. This opportunity can present great exposure and experience to someone looking to expand their career in this field.

About the Role:

• Carry out first line fault repairs and ensure all faults are reported
• Provide support and operation to Audio Visual equipment
• Assist with event Co-ordinators to make sure the client is happy
• AV requirements logged through Condeco to keep up to date with bookings etc
• Make sure room is tidy, safe, and presentable
• Convert mp4 files to mp3 files
• Attend meetings where you monitor a sound mixing desk, video recording and other equipment
• On request record PowerPoint meetings via Media site
• Work closely with the client, booking desk and reception and respond accordingly to their requests

Experience Required

• Q-sys knowledge (at least Level1).
• Familiarity with AV over IP solutions, ideally Wyrestorm experience.
• Datapath Video processor experience.
• AV network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Audio in a corporate meeting environment.
• Experience with LED videowalls.
• Tripleplay IPTV/Signage experience.
• Cisco Video conference products knowledge.
• BYOD user support and knowing their way around Windows device settings (Mac OS a bonus)

• Excellent time management and organisational skills and can show flexibility
• Work well in a team and able to take on instructions
• Good interpersonal skills required as often you will need to communicate with the client

Ideal Candidate:

A good technical understanding of AV technologies and experience working corporate events. The candidate would have industry recognised AV qualifications, and a desire to build on these skills. The individual must present themselves with fantastic communication skills and display a polite manner with the ability to take on ownership of the system/technologies with excellence. The ideal candidate must be able to express a sound knowledge of the operation and have solid PC applications and Networking skills.
