Python developer - new job in London, UK

My client is the world's leading data, insights and consulting company. they help clients understand people and inspire growth. they are a data and evidence-based agency providing insights and actionable recommendations to clients, worldwide.

A key part of this role is the technical oversight of their Digital Analytics Products: these are automated data pipelines, written in Python and run on Azure infrastructure, which process and feed data into dashboards and reports. You will be responsible for improving the overall product architecture, for ensuring high technical standards, and will contribute technical expertise when new products are developed.

the role will generally entail.

• Writing Python code to build and maintain data pipelines for products, as well as providing technical advice, review and support to other data scientist and developers within the Analytics Products team.
• General technical oversight of data pipelines and operational components supporting the delivery of products, ensuring that the overall architecture satisfies functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and that code is clear, well-structured, well-documented, and maintainable. We use technologies such as Databricks and Azure Data Lake, and all our infrastructure is maintained using Terraform.

We are paying £60,000 - £65,000pa for the right candidate, working Fully remote ( within the UK ) with the odd travel to the London office.
