Solution Engineer/Architect

Watford based - remote working

£700 per day, Inside IR35

6 month contract

Our major client is looking for a Solution Engineer to join their global, retail team.

As a Solution Engineer you will be an expert in all things Hybris (SAP Customer Experience).

Working within an established SAFe framework, in this role you will work with the various scrum teams to ensure that designs are being adhered to as well as reviewing the quality of the code being provided by the developers.

You will also work with the DevOps team to help deliver innovative ways in which features/stories can get into production faster without compromising on quality. You'll also be looking at other initiatives and improvements such as zero downtime deployments.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of Hybris (SAP Customer Experience) software design, development, testing and implementation experience
• Java and Spring Framework experience
• A minimum of 3 years' experience of working within an Agile framework (SAFe would be preferable)
• Experience of working with CI tooling such as Jenkins, SonarQube etc
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills

"Nice to Have's"

• Experience of working in a collaborative manner with a combination of nearshore and offshore teams (potentially provided by multiple suppliers)
• Experience of working with other "magic quadrant" Ecommerce platforms e.g. Adobe Magento, Salesforce or Commeretools
• Experience of having undertaken an Ecomm platform migration from an "on premise" instance to cloud
