Infrastructure Engineer - £50,000 - Ellesmere Port - 18 Month FTC

The Company:Here a Lorien we're working in partnership with a multi-national chemical producer. My client are going through a period of cloud transformation migrating their infrastructure into Microsoft Azure. As part of this development we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to aid with this process.

The Role: Your role as part of the Infrastructure Team is to work to successfully deliver the migration. You'll be decommissioning the on premise infrastructure migrating any service into Azure, providing expert knowledge and insight to the wider Infrastructure Team on best practise and efficient working methodologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a cloud migration project, getting hands-on experience with bleeding edge technology, which also includes infrastructure automation.

The Skill Requirements: We're looking for candidates who have a blend of the following skills:

• Management and Administration of Windows Server and Active Directory (2012/2016/2019)
• Experience managing a virtualised platform (Hyper-V/VMWare)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Familiarity of networking principles such as MPLS/SDWAN
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
