Business Analyst - Infrastructure Remediation - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid working - 3 days per week from a Malmesbury office - Inside IR35

My global client is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis and assist with a large greenfield Infrastructure Remediation Programme they have coming up. They are looking for a Business Analyst with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with global teams and stakeholders, who also have strong technical understanding of virtual and physical servers.

Some of your responsibilities depending on the phases of the project will be:

During the initial phase of the project, you will be:

• Taking the server list, break it into application groups (with support from relevant strategic partner resources), and initiate engagement with application teams to determine whether the application can be upgraded, what the costs of this may be, etc.
• Identify appropriate categories against which these servers can be captured - for instance, there may be a category for servers which could be switched off, or a category for those which can be upgraded with minimal impact, etc and completion of this categorization following analysis

During the second phase of the project, you will be:

• Providing support in documenting the remaining options and solutions, with support from strategic partners
• Providing support in developing a plan / process for further remediation activities to take place in later programme phases
