Desktop Engineer - Field Based

My client is a large IT and Telecoms service provider, with contracts across the UK to provide IT support for companies ranging from Government Departments, Defence contractors, to Pharmaceutical and Banking. They are currently looking for a Desktop Engineer to join their on site support team, to assist with Desktop Support on various client sites throughout London alongside their existing teams.

You'll be travelling to various sites across London to provide support for end users, scheduled to cover other engineers annual leave and other gaps in staffing. Once on site, you'll be responsible for providing the highest level of support across normal and VIP users.

You'll need to have excellent IT support experience, ideally face to face, and you'll need a full, clean driving licence to be considered. You'll also need to be adaptable, as you'll be working across clients and in different environments on a regular basis.

In return, my client is offering a salary of £30,000/year, along with a company car and fuel card for the travel to sites. There are also multiple progression opportunities available depending on where you see your career going.
