Senior Data Engineer - Outside IR35

My client, a large betting/Gaming company in the UK, are in the process of Building a brand-new world class Big

Data platform and are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely.

This new Platform will help process streams of data and enable Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics capabilities.

The Senior Data Engineer will join an agile team working alongside the Business Analysts, Testers, Architects, and Project Managers Focusing mainly on the development of complex logic integration's.

As a Senior Data Engineer you will handle large volumes of data and integrate their platform with a range of internal and external systems.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong Data Engineering experience
• Strong Big Data experience
• Experience of building Data pipelines
• Strong cloud experience - AWS, GCP or Azure
• Excellent SQL experience
• Strong Python programming experience
• Streaming processing experience (Spark or Kafka Streaming)
• Strong communication skills
