IT Support Technician

IT Technical Support - 3-month contract (likely to extend and/or perm opportunity)

Based in Hawick - the role is hybrid model (3 days on site)

Our clients have unrivalled experience when it comes to industry standards and are looking to hire 1^st/2^nd line IT Support to join their team in Hawick through a hybrid model to help assist their upcoming project. The responsibilities in this role will include providing 1^st and 2^nd line support to the existing IT team, documenting/managing any incidents, and configuring hardware and software in a Windows environment. Our client is starting a large project to run SAP into their business and therefore are looking for a candidate to come in and work with a wide range of technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange and O365. The ideal candidate possesses:

• Previous knowledge in a 1^st/2^nd line support role
• Understanding of IT helpdesk systems and hardware/software configuration
• History of managing user accounts and permissions
• Proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft technologies
