My client, a large Insurance Company, is looking for a Business Analyst to assist with a new Business Process Mapping Tool Implementation project. They are currently using Visio however are in the process of talking to vendors and choosing a new tool.

Key Skills

  • Build out the governance on how the business will maintain and update the process maps that sit within the tool to ensure the tool remains a core part of ways of working and go to place to find current process flows and maps
  • Responsible for building out the capability and ways of working, in conjunction with change management to help roll out and embed this throughout the client.
  • Engage with the architecture team to ensure alignment with any potential architecture tool they implement.
  • Engage with selected vendor to set up and roll out the tool to the team.
  • Facilitate workshops to elaborate Epics and capture and document user story mapping and user stories
  • Actively manage backlog stories with product owner ensuring prioritisation
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and document non functional requirements as user stories
  • Ensure refinement of stories is taking place at appropriate time to feed backlog
  • Contribute to project as required to develop proposals, requirements, or another project documentation
  • Elicit further requirements and test / challenge assumptions using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process descriptions
  • Identify the relationships, dependencies and impacts of change on multiple systems and processes

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Solid Business Analysis Experience
  • Process modelling standards experience (ideally with setting and rolling out new standards and procedures
  • for process modelling).
  • Systems implementation and integration experience.
  • Process mapping system & workflow application experience
  • Experience of working with agile methodologies
  • Business/Product analysis experience and knowledge of business analysis methodologies
