Project Manager within Technology needed for a top UK retailer. Location and working from home can be flexible to what suits you best. This specific opportunity is to help shape and deliver the technical components within the Supply Chain Technology platforms covering UK warehousing (currently 3 sites), Inbound supply chain and stock integrity for the business. What you'll be doing:

  • Work with our Supply Chain Development and Logistics colleagues to agree project delivery approach, timescales and key milestones
  • Work closely with all areas of our platform technology teams, 3rd party tech partners and other technology teams to ensure common goals are understood and delivered
  • Manage project plans and dependencies
  • Anticipate, identify and contain risks and work creatively with the teams to overcome issues
  • Bring domain expertise to challenge the proposed solutions and ensure that solutions are fit for purpose
  • Work with the central Architecture function to ensure architecture principles and standards are understood and applied
  • Work with a range of Business Analysts to determine workable and scalable solutions to deliver business requirements
  • Work closely with the vendor partners to ensure alignment on delivery plans and project deliverables
  • Understand dependencies and constraints from initiatives external to the Supply Chain and ensure they are accounted for and / or impacts identified and managed

Who we'd like to meet: You are a Project Manager with experience of delivery within a Supply Chain environment who is looking to make their mark in a business-critical platform.

  • Experience of full end-to-end lifecycle delivery in ecommerce
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and/or inbound supply chain systems
  • Experience of working in a UK retailer.
  • Experience of working with both internal and external development teams.
  • Financial/budget management experience
  • Strong communication skills, experience of working with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills as there will be a need to manage multiple projects
