Salary: £42,000 - £61,000

Fully Remote based - but does require working on-site in Swindon once a month for meetings and AdHoc.

We are working with a major client in the Banking industry who have over 700 banks located across the UK as well as work with many different brands across EMEA and prioritise cutting edge data and software tools in order to maintain their level of success.

This role will be is a Cloud Engineer who will be working alongside the architecture, security and engineering teams to help set up the best cloud platforms; involving, planning, managing, designing, and monitoring cloud systems.

There will also be a reporting element to the role, but this will be a highly technical and analytical position.

Degree not needed.

Skills required:

Cloud Engineers that can demonstrate hands-on or Non-cloud transferable experience to support our 4c's (Cloud, Containerisation, Coding, CI/CD)

Including:

• AWS 'Amazon Web Services' - Implementing AWS Cloud platforms for elasticity and scalability.
• Implementing cloud platforms like Kubernetes, Openshift, EKS & AKS.
• The ability to code in one of the following: Terraform & Ansible
• Automating the deployment and monitoring of services in Public Cloud.
• Implementing changes/improvements to production services, ensuring service uptime.

Additionally:

• A certification in AWS be desirable
• If you don't have the above, Puppet and Python are fine.
