sql analyst

My client is a world renowned centre of education and is looking to hire a sql analyst to join their expanding team.

Essential Criteria

-Good oral and written communication skills.-Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office.-Experience of undertaking a support role within an IT environment-Proven knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server relational databases and database programming using PL/SQL or TSQL.-High levels of self-motivation, initiative and ability to promote and demonstrate a flexible 'can do' attitude.-Experience of contributing to the delivery of IT services.Experience of providing advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues.Ability to effectively network and exchange advice and information for development purposes. Knowledge of and commitment to software development best practice including issue tracking, testing, documentation and version control.Evidence of continuing professional development.

Specific role requirements

* This post will require occasional out of hours working periods including weekends

* The post holder will be sponsored to undertake a Level 4 course in either Software Engineering or another IT topic dependent on previous academic attainment

we are looking to pay £33,000 for this fully remote role
