Senior DevOps Engineer/ SRE - new job in City of London, UK

A large media company is looking to hire a Senior Engineer or SRE who has good exposure to AWS. This company will offer upskilling into GCP.

Salary is up to £100,000 per annum, plus a very generous bonus and benefits package.

Your duties will be to help design, develop, maintain, and support engineering productivity tools using GitlabCI, Terraform, Python/ Bash. You will also contribute to other matters arising within our Infrastructure Engineering team, with a prime focus on keeping critical production systems running.

Technological Requirements:

• GitlabCI/ CircleCI/ TravisCI
• Python and Bash
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Understanding of cloud and network security principles.

This is an amazing opportunity that will offer upskilling in GCP and Site Reliability Engineering. They are very happy to hire from an AWS DevOps background and will provide all the training required for you to be able to become a Site Relibility Engineer of a hyrbrid AWS/ GCP platform.

This role is based in London, and would require you to be in office at least two days a week.
