Senior Software Engineer (C# / C++ and Hardware Control) - Edinburgh - to 60K plus Bonus

*Candidates must have worked with Hardware Control or Interfacing previously (e.g. Industrial Control Systems / IoT sensors / similar)*

Having placed a number of people into this firm already, Lorien's long standing client based near Edinburgh, a leader in their industry with a growing and consistently award-winning product line, have asked us to help them in their searches for a Senior Software Engineer with a backgrounds in Hardware Control to join their team (following promotions, team expansions and new projects launching as we speak).

Some of the things you'll get up to:

• Develop, maintain, and improve new & existing software for devices used across the globe
• Liaise with stakeholders in areas such as manufacturing/IT to ensure the delivery of a growing product portfolio
• Work as a key member within one of our client's cross-functional teams, working together with verification/ systems/FPGA specialists to develop software driving systems at the core of advanced new products
• Get to grips with a range of technologies and gain knowledge and skills as you do so

What you'll bring to the table:

• Skills across C# and/or C++
• A track record of working with Hardware Control or Interfacing (such as with Industrial Control Systems / IoT ( Internet of Things ) sensors / similar)
• Eagerness to learn new skills/tech, and work with a variety of technologies in a great, established R&D work setting
